Allegro 1 was painted in 2024 . The title “Allegro”was chosen by the artist for this painting as it is a lively composition. There are many painted colour elements looping across the work, interweaving. The collaged watercolour sections occupy the top of the composition with scattered linear drawings . They populate the background and the surface of the work where a neon green and black shape holds the composition statically allowing for the painted marks all around it to rotate? This work has a certain musicality, reflecting the title chosen.
